General Information
The Automotive Engineering Department of Firat University Faculty of Technology was established in 2010. The Automotive Engineering Department is a pioneering department, one of the first of its kind in Turkey. The department offers a Bachelor's degree program in Automotive Engineering. Graduate programs are thesis-based Master's and Doctorate programs in Automotive Engineering.
Admission Requirements

Higher Grade Transition
In case of providing the conditions for application and registration, candidates who successfully accomplished their master’s degree will gain the right to study in the doctoral programme.
Graduation Requirements
In order to receive a degree/complete the program, courses equivalent to 60 ECTS credits announced in the graduate program must be taken and successfully completed. Upon completion of the course phase, a research topic must be determined under the supervision of an advisor and the study must be presented. In addition, the student whose thesis is accepted will present his/her study orally in front of the appointed jury.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Automotive Engineering Master's Degree graduates can be employed in the automotive industry, R&D organizations, consulting companies, machinery manufacturing industry, transportation systems, national and international air defense industry, and public and private sector business units in the automotive field.
